I missed posting these photos of a BNSF coal train from last year. I believe this was a southbound train and these would have been the helper engines at the end. Its been a while since some real diesels have graced these pages.

I have managed to catch up couple of more BNSF coal trains heading south (full) and north (empty) coming through Denver near Broadway.

I'm sure most of you are aware that I get to ride the light rail to work. Every now and then there is a coal train on the BNSF mainline. Usually I only see the coal cars themselves but on the afternoon of May 30th I caught the head end as I was heading home. BNSF 9204 (SD70AC3) and BNSF 9499 (SD70MAC) were heading up this southbound train.
