I have been slowly working my way through the GZG miniatures that I bought during their last sale. This batch of 32 miniatures is the last of them. They are all now painted up and ready for play. I'm a quite a bit happier with this batch than my last batch. These will primarily be NPCs but it looks like there are a few that would make good character minis. These group consists of the following sets from GZG:

I have been painting this week and I have finished off the next batch of Ground Zero Games miniatures for the Traveller Campaign. I'm not really happy with the paint work on these but for gaming purposes they will get the job done. I have three more sets of GZG miniatures left to go, they are armed civilian packs and hopefully they will come out better than these.

Like I said it was a productive painting weekend. Here is the second set of GZG miniatures that I painted. There is one more on the table that's close but I'm not sure if I will finish it today or not.  Now here are the Technicians. Oh and one for scale as I have had several people ask about how big these really are. So with a  US Penny behind one of the miniatures.

I'm preparing to get a Traveller campaign started next year and of course that requires miniatures! So its back to the 15mm, the classic size for any Traveller campaign. I received an order from GZG (Ground Zero Games) and I spent a very productive weekend painting. This is the first group that was finished, my Colonial Security.

I should have taken a side shot. If you see what appears to be a stray bit of red on the paints, that's actually a red stripe running down the outside of each leg.

Yes, yes, I got sucked in by a sale. With the upcoming release of Traveller 5 I working on getting my old campaign started again. Some where in the depths of the basement is a good sized stash of the old Martian Metals miniatures but 15mm Sci/Fi miniatures have come a long way in 30 years so I decided I would invest in some new miniatures for a new group of players. That's when I noticed that GZG (Ground Zero Games) was having a sale so I opted to order some and see how they looked up close and personal. They have some very nice civilian types but not really any suitable for my players' characters. This will fill in nicely for everything else though. They have been cleaned and primed and a little painting has been started just to get a feel for painting some 15s again. I'll have to set them aside for a bit while I work on my TYW Danes for the convention though. Here are some pictures of them coming pretty much straight out of the packages:
