The Game of "Clue" 1949 Small Box

I have added a new page that I'm going to use to track my "Clue" game collection. As I update it I'll try and keep it, somewhat, in chronological order with the oldest editions of the game coming first. I have shown of the three versions of the Disney Haunted Mansion Clue here before, so those are photos that will be added to that page. Mostly I'm doing this to have an excuse to inventory my games and figure out exactly what I have, including which games are complete and which games I need to find pieces for.
This morning I am putting up pictures of the 1st American edition of clue, circa 1949-1950. This is a transition era game as games moved from small boxes with separate boards to larger boxes that contained everything.

This is the 1949 Small box edition. I'm continually keeping my eye out for these as the colors of the box faded so quickly from a pretty nice darker green to a rather ugly grayish green. This is probably the best of the bunch as far as color goes and it is complete (although I forgot to take a picture of the board). I have a second copy that is only a little lighter in color from this one but neither are really close to the original.

First, a quick note about Origins. We had been looking forward to seeing you there, but unfortunately we won't be there this year in a booth. Our brother Tim Peaslee will be running demos, so be sure to say hi to him when you're there. We can't do a proper booth this time around because we simply can't spare the labor right now.

Why can't we spare the labor?

Friday, June 7th, we received two 40ft containers full of Bones! For those of you keeping track at home, those containers were filled with over 470,000 models. We're still looking for the last container to be delivered next week, but we have enough to start shipping now.

What's next?

We've unloaded the containers (we have the bruises to prove it). We're getting those models organized into our system and firing up our fulfillment line this week.

We know we're behind our estimated ship date of March, so we've added a second shift for fulfillment so we can process the packages very nearly 'round the clock. We're doing everything we can to blast through these pledges so you can receive your Bones as quickly as we can manage it.

Kickstarter; Wargods of Olympus - Concept Art

We are approaching the $55,000 mark which will release the Corinthians to the field of battle. There are no greens for the Corinthians yet but there is a piece of concept art for them. In addition a new Demigod has been added; Dionysus. A copy of Dionysus will be added for free to the x8 painter level but its actually explained in the graphic itself so you will know to which levels he is being added.

Kickstarter; Wargods of Olympus - Titan Hunter Unlocked

The Croc has hit the $45,000 level unlocking the first "free" Kickstarter miniature, the Titan Hunter. This one is exclusive to this Kickstarter. During the Titan Hunter run we also unlocked a "hidden" reward one that provides a free pdf of the rules (when they are released in 2014) to every reward level above watcher. Again you don't get it early but you will get it. In the meantime I noticed that the concept art for Artemis had been replaced by a green so Fitz is obviously sculpting at a near frantic pace. I also see that the concept art for the Oracle is also making an appearance. I do like Des' work. We are also heading towards the next reward level of $55,000 which will unlock the Corinthians. I rather anxious to see the greens or at least the concept art for these guys.
